The National health survey (ENSE) is an investigation aimed at families, the main objective of which is to obtain data about the family's state of health and the determining factors for it from the point of view of the citizens. In the survey conducted 2011-2012, approximately 24,000 homes were investigated distributed among 2,000 census sections.
Its frequency is every five years, alternating every two and a half years with the European Health Survey, with which it shares a set of harmonised variables.
The National Health Survey (NHS) is a research operation that the INE carries out based on a partnership agreement with the Ministry of Public Health, Social Services and Equality.
