Statistics of Suicide in Spain. Results

Suicide statistics have been compiled continuously from 1906 to 2006. Information was collected annually, on both suicides and suicide attempts, studying the act of suicide with all of the social circumstances that might be of interest.

Since 2007, following the international standards on the subject, it was decided to withdraw the suicide bulletins, and obtain the statistical information regarding suicide from the information offered by the legal death bulletin that is used for the Death statistcs according to cause of death.
