  The Household Budget Continuous Survey (HBCS) was carried out during the 1985-2005 period, for the purpose of providing quarterly and annual information regarding the origin and amount of household income, and the way in which said income is used for different consumption expenses.

  As of 2006, this survey has been replaced by the Household Budget Survey (HBS), which is conducted annually
