The Electoral Census Office is the institution responsible for the formation of the Electoral Central and is located in the National Statistics Institute. It exerts its competences under the supervision of the Central Electoral Board.

The Director of the Electoral Census Office is The President of the National Statistics Institute and the provincial delegates of the Electoral census office are the respective ones from the National Statistics Institute.
