This study tries to supply information on the degree of use of new technologies in manufacture, which is a measure of the circulation of technological innovation in Spanish companies.

The information contained in this publication has been obtained based on a question included in the questionnaire from the Survey on Technological Innovation in Companies 1998. Therefore, all methodological aspects as to coverage, analysis unit, sample size, collection and treatment of information are available in the publication of this survey.
