INE / Master in Applied Statistics and Statistics for the Public Sector. Eighth edition 2011-2012

The Master that the University of Alcala and the National Statistics Institute jointly organises with the collaboration of the International Centre for Financial Training (CIFF) offers students the possibility of obtaining the professional capacity and preparation within the field of applied statistics, with preferential attention to public statistics. The Master provides students with tools and practical knowledge, ranging from the use of common computer tools to the intensive use of practical cases, and including familiarisation with the different professional tasks that they may tackle in the future in research centres, financial risk departments, market research companies and public institutions.

The Master is structured into 10 modules which are imparted by academic specialists and statistical professionals from the INE and the CIFF Foundation. The students that successfully pass the teaching period will receive the degree of University Master in Applied Statistics and Statistics for the Public Sector (Own qualification from the University of Alcala).

The Master offers scholarships, which will be assigned based on academic excellence and economic situation, as well as financing facilities. Students can supplement their education with internships during the master.
