Summary The Registered Health Professionals Statistic has been developed by the INE since 1953. This research is of interest on a national level and in terms of the OECD and EU countries via their Statistics Office (EUROSTAT). The information refers to doctors, odontologists and stomatologists, vets, pharmacists, chiropodists and registered nurses. Information on sex, age and work situation is collected for all these groups and national results are published by Autonomous Community and province The information provided refers to doctors, dentists and stomatologists, veterinaries, pharmacists, chiropodists and graduates in nursing.
