NOTE: On 3 March 2009, the information published in the National Immigrant Survey was broadened:
- Intermunicipal mobility. Each municipality in which the immigrant has resided has been encoded.
- Occupation. New, more broken-down classification of the occupation in the country of origin, during the week of the survey and during the first week that the immigrant spent in Spain.
This new information has been included in additional variables of the microdata file, as described in the broadened register design, and in the meantime, the results of the CPRNAC variable, the region of the country of birth of the surveyed person, have been revised.
