The Energy Consumption Survey (ECS) is a biannual statistical investigation whose objective is to obtain information on the different types of fuels used by industrial companies.
The population object of study is the set of 20 or more employed persons whose main activity is included in sections C and D of the National Classification of Economic Activities (NCEA-93). In other words, the survey covers extractive manufacturing industries
