The Industrial Companies Survey (ICS) is a structural survey that is carried out annually whose main objective is to provide specific, reliable and appropriate information on the various sectors that constitute industrial activity, in such a way that both the national and international information needs on the subject may be satisfied.

The survey refers to the group of companies whose main activity is industrial (sections C to E of the National Classification of Economic Activities from 1993) and located within the country.
