Foto Lector de texto The University Education Statistics collects the most relevant characteristics of the student body (enrolled, new students and those who finished, broken down by sex and age), as well as of doctoral teaching staff, centres and studies. Additionally, annual series were submitted for the last decade in higher education, including all university studies or their equivalent. There statisitics were no longer carried out by the INE as of the 2011-12 academic year, and were taken over Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.

The University Entrance Exams Statistic provide data on the student body enrolled and passed, according to different variables: university, options, curriculum and Autonomous Community, information used as a basis for designing educational policy for access to university studies. Ten-yearly series have also been included. There statisitics were no longer carried out by the INE as of the 2013 academic year, and were taken over by Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport as of said year.

The Preview of the University Education Statistic provided a preview of the number of students enrolled in June and September in order to gain an overview of the scope and volume of University Education in Spain. Preparation of these statistics has been discontinued.
