The University Education Statistic covers the most relevant characteristics of the student body (matriculated, new intake and who finished, broken down by sex and age), as well as teaching personnel, centres and doctorate studies. Moreover, annual series from the last decade in higher educaton are presented, including all university studies and studies equivalent to university.

The university entrance exams statistic supplies data on the matriculated student body and student body who passed, according to different variables: university, options, teaching plan and Autonomous Community, information that serves as a base to design the new educational policy for access to university studies. Ten year series are also included.

The preview of the University Education Statistic provided a preview of the number of students enrolled in June and September in order to gain an overview of the scope and volume of University Education in Spain. Preparation of these statistics has been discontinued.
