Notes
1) 1) As of the reference year 2007, the treatment tables integrate data on waste treatment, regardless of its origin (urban or non-urban). Estimation by direct observation of some waste categories is not possible and for this reason, said categories have been estimated by conciliation with the corresponding figures from generation and adjustment with external sources. 2) Since reference year 2008 inclusively, data corresponding to waste generated by waste treatment facilities was published in 'Waste accounts 2008', together with waste generated by the rest of activity sectors and of households. 3) The symbol '..' means that this category of waste is not is not included in Regulation (EC 2150/2002) 4) The sludge categories, only respective equivalent quantities in dry matter are considered.
