National Statistics Institute

The technical cooperation carried out by the INE in Latin America is formalised via the Programme of activities entailing an exchange of experiences between official statistics professionals and experts. When devising the programme of activities, the aim is to respond to the needs of beneficiary countries in the Latin American region within our fields of excellence, by designing specific activities in which the development objectives of our Latin American partners are a priority.

A theoretical focus is combined with the necessary practical references in all the activities and this allows the participants to transfer, apply and multiply the knowledge acquired to their own institutions.

The Courses and Seminars in Latin America that require attendance have been organised in collaboration with the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and for Development   (   AECID ) via their training centres in Latin America. Furthermore, the programme's on-line training has been organised in collaboration with the Distance Learning Centre for Economic and Technological Development (  CEDDET ).

Knowledge Transmission Network (KTN)
