The European statistical information is extensive and covers all the topics of an economic, demographic and social nature. This information is disseminated primarily through the website of Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Union. To help answer users’ queries in relation to the European statistical information, there is a network of ESDSs coordinated by Eurostat. The ESDSs are Statistical Information Offices in Europe (European Statistical Data Support) created to support users in their own language.
In Spain, this service is provided by the INE through Infoeuropea, a team specialising in European statistics which handles queries in Spanish and responds within 24 hours (except where the request requires further clarifications from the author services)
