Definition
The specific unemployment rate for a specific age interval is the quotient between unemployed persons aged between the years established in the interval and the active population in said interval. Ti(unemployment) = Di/ Ai, i <= 16 [i, i+k) age interval with amplitude k Ti= specific unemployment rate for interval [i,i + k) Di= number of unemployed in the interval [i,i + k) Ai= number of active persons in the interval [i,i + k) Generally calculated for both sexes and for each sex separately. Intervals are usually every fifteen or every ten days.Source
