Its estimation was made summing the variables: 'total water volume controlled and supplied to users' and 'Water volume losses in the distribution network (leaks, breakdowns, ...)'. This methodological changes must be taken into account when comparing data and indicators of the 2000-2006 series with the infomation from 2007 onwards. Source: National Statistics Institute
