Households and financial statistics

Financial institutions (banks, savings banks and other entities) provide loans and credits for the acquisition of goods and services. Spanish citizens have easy access to banking services, with a large number of bank offices and cashpoints. Almost 99% of households have current accounts, savings books or deposits in financial entities, and 63.1% have some credit card.
