Labour Cost Surveys

Labour cost growth slows down

Labour cost is the expenditure made by companies for the use of the work factor. Three quarters of the labour cost of companies are used to the payment of salaries and wages. Industry is the sector with the greatest labour cost. In general, the larger the company, the larger the salaries and social benefits. There are significant differences among the different Autonomous Communities and among the EU countries. The labour cost in Spain is below the average of the EU.
