Economically Active Population Survey 2005
The EAPS covers population changes and modernises its collection system
The EAPS is a quarterly sample study, targeting families. It offers data regarding the economically active population and its different categories (employed and unemployed), as well as the population outside of the labour market (inactive persons). The novelties of the EAPS in 2005 are summarised as the updating of the population base used, the application of the new Eurostat regulation and the modernisation of the information collection method.
