Spain and the EU: a comparison regarding mortality from cancer

The rate in Spain is among the lowest in the EU

Statistics on causes of death, which are carried out by the INE, are an important source of information for assessing health care and state of health, necessary for prevention and continuing to conduct research for its benefit. In this sense, and to mark European Skin Cancer Prevention Day, the INE is launching a new informative bulletin in order to provide the latest mortality data in relation to this, and other types of cancer, both in this country and in the European Union.
