Linked population, by studies, work or spending more than 14 nights per year
2011 Population and Housing Censuses
The 2001 Population Census first published tables with the linked population on a municipal level. Currently, this concept has greater relevance, due to the fact that the number of commutes of persons has increased in the last ten years.
The linked population intends to account for those persons who have some type of regular relationship with a given municipality: because they reside, go to work or study, or spend certain periods of time there.
