Employment of persons with disabilities is an annually statistical operation whose object is to obtain data on labour force (employed, unemployed) and the population that is not part of the labour market (economically inactive population) in the group of pesons aged between 16 and 64 who have a officially recognised disability.

This transaction is the result of a Collaboration Agreement between the INE, IMSERSO, Directorate General for the Coordination of Sectoral Policy for Disabilities, the Spanish Committee of Disabled People's Representatives (CERMI) and the ONCE Foundation. When preparing it, the information used comes from the integration of data from Economically Active Population Survey (EAPS) with the administrative data registered in the State Database of Persons with Disabilities (SDPD) and others sources (Tesorería General de la Seguridad Social (TGSS), Registro de Prestaciones Sociales Públicas del Instituto Nacional de Seguridad Social (INSS) and Sistema para la Autonomía y Atención a la Dependencia (SAAD)).
