The deadline for submitting candidatures for the 2024 call for the National Statistics Award is open.
The National Statistics Institute makes its annual call for the National Statistics Award, which will be awarded in recognition of contribution and scientific work in the field of Statistics, demonstrated based on the lifetime achievement of candidates or through a unique work.

La presente publicación sobre los Indicadores de la Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible en España muestra la situación de los objetivos y metas de la Agenda 2030 a fecha 7 de marzo de 2024. Adicionalmente incluye información sobre la evolución de los indicadores desde el 2015, por ser el año en que se adoptó la Agenda 2030.

La finalidad de esta publicación es ofrecer un resumen de los indicadores más relevantes de ambos paÃses permitiendo su comparación, difusión y fomento del uso de las estadÃsticas oficiales.
Second Quarter 2024. The number of employed increases by 434,700 people compared to the previous quarter and stands at 21,684,700. In seasonally adjusted terms, the quarterly variation is 0.37%. Employment has grown by 426.300 people in the last 12 months.

June 2024. Provisional data. The annual rate of the General Retail Trade Index at constant prices stood at 0.3% in the seasonal and calendar adjusted series. The monthly variation in retail sales at constant prices was 0.3% after seasonal and calendar adjustment. Employment in retail trade increased by 1.5% in annual rate.
Year 2023. The total cost per worker was 36,130.66 euros gross during 2023, 5.4% more than the previous year. The net cost increased by 5.4%, up to 35,897.47 euros. The gross annual salary per worker was 26,555.89 euros, 4.7% more than in 2022.
June 2024. Provisional data. The annual variation of the Industrial Price Index increased one point in June, to -3.5%. The monthly rate of industrial prices was 1.9%.
June 2024. Provisional data. Overnight stays in hotel establishments increased a 5.4 % in June, compared to the same month of 2023. The Hotel Price Index rose 7.8 % in annual rate. Hotels billed 122.1 euros on average per occupied room, 8.1 % more than the same month of the previous year.
