Libraries Statistics. Methodology
- Type of operation: biennial statistical operation.
- Population scope: all libraries, except those private libraries (of individuals or entities) whose use is not permitted to the public, and school libraries.
- Geographical scope: the entire national territory.
- Reference period: the calendar year of the survey. For some data, the situation as at 31 December of that year.
- Collection method: online questionnaire (web application).
