Multiple causes of death are the set of diseases, morbid conditions or injuries that led to or contributed to death, and the circumstances of the accident or violence that led to those injuries. From the 2016 deaths, results are presented in this section that interrelate multiple causes and the basic cause (the disease or injury that initiated the chain of pathological events leading directly to death).
