The total expenditure of international tourists visiting Spain in March increased by 5.4% and reached 9,606 million euros. The average daily expenditure increased by 4.8% to 198 euros.

The Tourist Expenditure Survey has as main objective to know the tourism expenditure of foreign visitors when they leave Spain.
This survey countinues the Tourism Expenditure Survey. Egatur, carried out by Turespaña until September 2015, and it disseminates its results as of October 2015.
