    • 1) Activities of self-care include: Take your medicines, Eating, Get dressed or undressed, Comb your hair and shave, Wash your face and and body from waist upwards, Shower or bathe and only Stay alone all night.

      Domestic work include: Use a telephone, Purchase food or clothes, Prepare own breakfast, Prepare your own meals, Cut a slice of bread, Wash up, Make the bed, Change the bed sheets, Wash underwear by hand, Use the clothes washer, Clean the house, Clean a stain on the floor and Sew a button.

      Activities of Mobility include: Take public transport, Administer your own money, Walk (with or without a walking stick), Walk for one hour continuously and Climb up ten steps.

      Degree of self-sufficiency: Value between 1 and 3. Is assigned for each individual one degree of self-sufficiency for each of activities groups. This grade is calculated for each individual activity the values 1='Can carry it out without assistance', 2=' 'Can carry it out with assistance' or 3='Cannot carry it out in any way whatsoever' and obtained a average for each group of activity. The data of the table is the average of total of individuals of the population within each age group and sex.
