15 May. International Day of the Families

15 May was proclaimed International Day of Families by the General Assembly of the United Nations, in 1993. There are 16.3 million households in Spain, with an average of 2.74
persons therein. Among the new generations, women smoke more. More than half of adults and more than 25% of children are overweight. Almost 9% of the population has been hospitalised in the last 12 months; 8.5% claims to have some disability.
