Regarding books and reading

There are more than 8,000 companies dedicated to publishing activities in Spain, and publishing production registers approximately 70,000 new titles each year, including books and leaflets. Moreover, books and newspapers provide the main contribution to Gross Domestic Product for Culture (38.5%), which in turn represents almost 3% of the entire GDP.
