Households and domestic service

This journal covers some of the main results of the Household Budget Survey Annual Module regarding households with a domestic service carried out in 2009.
14.4% of the 17.1 million households in Spain have some type of domestic service provided on a regular basis. The size of the municipality, the level of income and the presence of elderly or disabled persons in the household are among the features influencing the taking out of this type of service.
