Concept selected: Energy Intensity
- Definition
 -

It is the net domestic energy use to produce a unit of value added by the country¿s economy or an economic activity. It is a measure of energy efficiency; if the intensity decreases, it indicates that less energy was needed to reach the same level of product as in previous years, therefore energy use was less intensive.
