The Export Price Index (IPRIX) is a short-term indicator that measures the monthly evolution of the prices of industrial products manufactured in the domestic market and sold in the foreign market.
As for the Import Price Index (IPRIM), it is a short-term indicator that measures the monthly evolution of the prices of industrial products from the rest of the world.
In order to obtain them, an ongoing monthly survey investigating industrial establishments that carry out operations in the foreign market (around 4,100 for the IPRIX and 5,200 for the IPRIM) is conducted.
The results of the IPRIX and IPRIM with CNAE-2025 will be published for the first time in February 2028.
