Did you know...?
The Survey on expenditure of households in education (EGHE) is multi-year statistical research with the primary goal of understanding the magnitude, characteristics, and distribution of household spending on education.
The survey provides information on various types of educational services (enrolment and tuition, supplementary services, extracurricular activities, etc.) as well as on goods acquired for educational purposes (textbooks, school uniforms and footwear, computer products, etc.).
This survey was carried out for the first time in 2007 as an integrated module in the Household Budget Survey. In 2011/2012 it was carried out for the second time, in this case as a separate survey, in the academic year 2019/2020 it was the third edition of this research, and the 2023/2024 edition is therefore the fourth.
