La Encuesta de Salud de España (ESdE) es una investigación dirigida a la población que reside en viviendas familiares en todo el territorio nacional. Su objetivo principal es obtener datos sobre el estado de salud, la utilización de los servicios sanitarios y los factores determinantes de salud.
El Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE) y el Ministerio de Sanidad son los organismos corresponsables de su realización. La encuesta tiene periodicidad trienal y ofrece información armonizada y comparable a nivel europeo, lo que permite planificar y evaluar las políticas y actuaciones sanitarias tanto a nivel nacional como internacional.
Esta edición forma parte de la cuarta ola de la Encuesta Europea de Salud (European Health Interview Survey, EHIS), correspondiente al período 2025-2026.
Para esta edición, realizada en 2025, se investigaron aproximadamente 37.500 viviendas distribuidas en 2.500 secciones censales.
