The annual rate of the Construction Production Index stands at 0.4% in the seasonal and calendar-adjusted series and -9.9% in the original. The monthly variation of the COPI stood at -3.5%, after seasonal and calendar adjustment.

The Construction Production Index (IPCO) is a short-term indicator whose objective is to measure the monthly evolution of added value in the construction sector.
In order to obtain it, a continuous monthly survey is conducted, which every month investigates 3,600 firms in the construction sector distributed throughout the national territory.
