The Structural Statistics of Companies in the Construction Sector aim to understand the structural and economic characteristics of companies engaged in activities related to building construction, civil engineering, and specialised construction activities.
This statistic, governed by Regulation 2019/2152 of the European Parliament and of the Council and its Implementing Act 2020/1197, provides information on the structural characteristics of companies in the Construction sector, such as their size, economic data (income and expenditure), as well as their employment and investment structure.
This operation has been published by the INE since the 2024 reference year, replacing the Survey of the Structure of the Construction Industry (EEIC in its Spanish initials)., which had been carried out by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility until the 2023 reference year.
