Description
Measures the domestic value added generated by each industry in Spain exposed to the demand of each country.
Observations

Example: The value added generated in the Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles; transportation and storage; accommodation and food service activities (GHI) industry of the Spanish economy that is exposed to France's demand amounted to 17,734 million euros in 2024.

Calculation method

\(\langle v^{\text{ES}}\rangle L^{\text{ES}}y^{\text{ES},q}+\langle v^{\text{ES}}\rangle L^{\text{ES}}A^{q,q}B^{q,z}y^{z,q}+\langle v^{\text{ES}}\rangle L^{\text{ES}}A^{q,q}B^{q,z}y^{z,p}+\langle v^{\text{ES}}\rangle L^{\text{ES}}A^{s,p}B^{p,z}y^{z,q}\)

Where: \(\langle v^{\text{ES}}\rangle\) is the diagonalized value added multiplier of the Spanish economy's industries, \(L^{\text{ES}}\) is the local Leontief inverse for the Spanish economy, \(A\) is the matrix of technical coefficients, \(B\) is the global Leontief inverse, \(y\) is the final demand vector, and \(q\), \(p\), and \(z\) represent the partner country, a third country, and the set of the remaining countries, respectively.
