Quality of Life Indicators
Sponsored by various international and European initiatives, the approach to measuring well-being is broadening beyond traditional economic indicators, taking on a multidimensional perspective. Along these lines, a set of Quality of Life Indicators has been developed, structured into nine dimensions that reflect different aspects of individual well-being and societal progress, broken down according to personal characteristics (sex, age, type of household, level of education or income, nationality and degree of urbanisation) and by geographical area (Autonomous Communities and European Union).
