Definition
Transactions carried out via networks based on Internet protocols (TCP/IP) or on other telematic networks. The goods and services are hired through these networks, but the payment or delivery of the product may be performed off-line, through any other channel. Orders placed over the telephone, by fax or by written email are not considered e-commerce.Source
