The Economically Active Population Survey (EAPS) is conducted since 1964 and the methodology in force is that of 2005.
It is an ongoing research carried out every quarter and it targets households. Its main objective is to obtain data on the labour force and the various categories (employed and unemployed persons), as well as the population out of the labour market (inactive persons).
The initial sample includes 65,000 interviewed households per quarter, which implies approximately 180,000 people.
