Works that will be carried out in the year 2009
Management and coordination.
Validation, filtering and correcting of errors in the information received from the 2007 survey, between January and March, as well as the updating of files from the 2007 sample and of the economic data (in questionnaires).
Analysis of the information received and creation of the sample tables with the main variables and statistical macro-magnitudes in April and May.
Dispatch of information to the INE.
Calculation of the raising coefficients.
Asking the INE for the sample from the year 2008, during the month of May. Imputation and elevation of the sample data to the universe (national total), obtainig the results for the 2007 survey at the end of the first quarter, and sending them to the INE and to Eurostat.
Dissemination of results in the second quarter.
Updating and adapting of the 2008 sample sent by the INE for the creation of the MFOM sample in June.
Design of questionnaires, road maps, and instructions in June and July.
Preparation of the material needed to conduct the 2008 survey, and dissemination of the questionnaires in September.
Adaptation and updating of computer applications.
Organisation and training of the field teams, verification, recording and validation in the third quarter.
Request for and collection of information corresponding to the 2008 survey, during the fourth quarter.
Recording and verification of the information received, updating of the 2008 file sample and creation of the 2008 data files, in the fourth quarter.
The INE selects a sample to survey, and provides the group of companies from the Central Companies Directory. In turn, the Statistics Institute of Navarra and the Basque Statistics Institute carry out the fieldwork within their territorial scope.
