Exercise to monitor the Annual Plan for International Cooperation: between 1 January and 31 March, all computable interventions are as official aid for development made by Spanish public administrations the previous year are collated. The information compiled enables calculating the ratio of AOD/RNB, in addition to the main magnitudes for Spanish aid. The analysis includes both bilateral interventions and contributions to multilateral institutions. The result is published during the second quarter of the year by the Directorate General for Planning and Evaluation of Development Policies (DGPOLDE) in a volume called "Follow up - PACI 2010". Subsequently, this information is conveyed to the OECD Aid for Development Committee, which is delegated by its Member States to quantify official aid for development annually.
Annual Plan for International Cooperation: between 1 September and 31 October the DGPOLDE covers all interventions set out by the Public Administrations in the scope of the AOD for the year 2012. With this information, the base document and budgetary framework for the Annual Plan for International Cooperation is prepared, and which, after approval by the Council of Ministers, is published in December.
