Observations

The reference value of this indicator is 100, which is obtained when parity is absolute. The degree of disparity is greater the further away from 100 the value of the indicator, reflecting an unfavourable or favorable situation of the population group of the numerator with respect to the population group of the denominator as it takes a value below or above 100, respectively. In interpreting this indicator it should be taken into account that it is not symmetrical around 100. Rural : municipalities up to 10000 inhabitants (inclusive) Urban: municipalities with more than 10000 inhabitants
