Notes
1) Cars or vans that the household regularly uses as a means of personal transport are counted, including company vehicles or other vehicles that are not owned by the household but are used regularly. 2) Income per unit of household consumption is calculated to take into account economies of scale within households. It is obtained by dividing the total household income by the number of consumption units in the household, whose value is obtained by adding the weights of the modified OECD scale, which gives a weight of 1 to an adult household member, a weight of 0.5 to other household members aged 14 and over, and a weight of 0.3 to children under 14. Once the income per unit of consumption has been calculated, it is assigned to each member of the household. For the calculation of quintiles, the distribution of persons is taken.
