En los códigos "07.2.2.1 T Gasóleo" y "07.2.2.2 T Gasolina" de la clasificación COICOP 2018/EPF están incluidos los lubricantes y otros carburantes para vehículos personales; los gastos en tales productos se distribuyen uniformemente entre los dos códigos.
Para el cálculo de las unidades de consumo se ha utilizado la escala OCDE modificada.
Debido a todos los cambios introducidos en la encuesta en 2024, para la publicación de junio de 2025 el objetivo principal ha sido el gasto de los hogares. La información relativa al consumo de cantidades físicas se publicará al revisar la serie hacia atrás con la nueva clasificación de gasto
