Definition

Calculation method

\[ PPHAB_{16-74}^{t}=\frac{P H A B_{16-74}^{t}}{P_{16-74}^{t}} \cdot 100 \]Where: \( PH A B_{16-74}^{t}\)is the population between 16 and 74 years that in the last 3 months has used some computer skills in the year t and \(P_{16-74}^{t}\)is the population between 16 and 74 years in the year t.

Collected computer skills: Download or install software or apps Change the configuration of the software, app or device, Copy or move files between folders, devices or in the cloud, Create presentations that integrate text, images or tables; Schedule in a programming language, Use basic functions of a spreadsheet. Until 2020 (included) the subindicator refers to whether he has used any skills in the last 12 months and from 2021 if the ability has been used in the last 3 months. In the survey of 2021 the ability "Copy or move files between folders, devices or in the cloud" has replaced "Transfer files between the computer and other devices" and "Copy or move files or folders" from previous years.
