\[AROPE^t_{NAC}= \frac{PRPES^t_{NAC}}{p^t}\cdot100\]Where: \(PRPES^t_{NAC}\)is the population at risk of poverty or social exclusion in year t, considering the national poverty line and \(p^t\)is the total population in year t.
Persons at risk of relative poverty (considering the national poverty line): persons with income per unit of consumption below 60% of the national median of income per unit of consumption (changed OECD scale). The income used in the calculation of this indicator corresponds to the year preceding the survey. The number of units of consumption of a household is calculated using the modified OECD scale, which assigns a weight of 1 to the first person aged 14 or over, a weight of 0.5 to the rest of persons aged 14 or over and a weight of 0.3 to persons under 14 years of age. Living in households with severe material deprivation: with lack in at least four concepts of the following list of nine:1. You cannot afford to go on vacation at least one week per year. 2. You cannot afford a meal of meat, chicken or fish at least every two days. 3. You cannot afford to keep the house at an appropriate temperature. 4. You do not have the capacity to deal with unforeseen expenses. 5. You have had delays in paying for expenses related to the main housing (hip or rent, gas receipts, community..... you cannot afford to have the last 12 months of work at least 4. you do not have the ability to keep the house at least to meet unforeseen costs.
