$$TCGMP_{pobre}^{t}=\sqrt[\frac{1}{5}-1]{\frac{GMP_{\text {pobre}}^{t}}{GMP_{\text{pobre}}^{t-5}}} \cdot 100$$Where: \(GMP_{\text{pobre }}^{t}\)is the average expenditure per person of households of the poorest 40% of the population (40% of people with lower expenditure per unit of consumption (changed OECD scale)) in year t and \(GMP_{\text{pobre }}^{t-5}\)is the average expenditure per person of households of the poorest 40% of the population (40% of people with lower expenditure per unit of consumption (changed OECD scale)) in year t-5.
The number of units of household consumption is calculated using the modified OECD scale, which assigns a weight of 1 to the first person aged 14 or over, a weight of 0.5 to the rest of persons aged 14 or over and a weight of 0.3 to persons under 14 years of age
