January 2026. Provisional data. The annual rate of the Construction Production Index stands at 0.4% in the seasonal and calendar-adjusted series and -9.9% in the original. The monthly variation of the COPI stood at -3.5%, after seasonal and calendar adjustment.
January 2026. Provisional data. The number of passengers using public transport decreased by 1.8% in January, as compared with the same month of 2025. The annual rate for city transport decreased by 0.2% and for inter-city transport by 4.7%.
January 2026. Provisional data. The annual rate of the General Retail Trade Index at constant prices stood at 4.0% in the seasonal and calendar adjusted series. The monthly variation in retail sales at constant prices was 0.1% after seasonal and calendar adjustment. Employment in retail trade increased by 0.9% in annual rate.
January 2026. Provisional data. The number of mercantile companies increased by 8.8% in January compared to the same month in 2025. The number of dissolved companies decreased by 0.3% year-on-year.
Fourth Quarter 2025. Provisional data. The cost per hour worked increased by 3.8% in the annual rate in the series adjusted for calendar and seasonal effects, and 3.2% in the original series. The activities that recorded the greatest increase in the annual rate in adjusted data were Financial and insurance activities (7.3%).

Fourth quarter 2025 and year 2025. Provisional data. Registrations of certifications for mortgage foreclosures initiated in property registries increased by 32.7% in the fourth quarter on annual rate. Foreclosures on dwellings of natural persons increased by 33.1% and foreclosures initiated on usual dwellings increased by 34.5%.
Fourth Quarter 2025. The annual variation rate of the Housing Price Index stood at 12.9%. The annual variation rate of new houses was 11.2%, while the rate for used houses was 13.1%. Housing prices rose by 1.8% compared with the previous quarter.
January 2026. Provisional data. The annual rate of the Industrial Production Index stood at -0.3% in the seasonally and calendar adjusted series and 2.8 in the original series. The monthly change in the Industrial Production Index was -2.5% if seasonal and calendar effects are eliminated.
