Business Confidence Indicators (BCI)
Fourth Quarter 2025. The Business Confidence Index decreases by 1.3% in the fourth quarter of 2025 as compared with the third quarter. 21.5% of business establishments managers considered that the performance of their business during the fourth quarter of 2025 would be favourable, while 13.6% thought it would be unfavourable.
Consumer Price Index (CPI)
September 2025. The annual variation rate of the August CPI stood at 3.0%, three tenths above that recorded in August. The annual core inflation remained at 2.4%. The monthly variation of the general rate was -3.0%.
Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP)
September 2025. The annual rate of the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) stood at 3.0%, three tenths above the previous month.
Reference Index of Housing Rentals
September 2025. The annual rate of the IRAV corresponding to the month of September is 2.22%.

2025 Edition. The chapter Education, in the Women and Men in Spain publication, has been updated.
Passenger Transport Statistics (PT)
August 2025. Provisional data. The number of passengers using public transport increased by 2.6% in August, as compared with the same month of 2024. The annual rate for city transport increased by 4.0% and for inter-city transport decreased by 1.4%.
